Since mint emblems are hard to find, I am also looking for a crusty one that's complete to clean up and pull a mold off. Whacha got? If you have a nice set, I'd be interested in talking with you.

If a super clean set can't be found for a decent price, I have two other options. Paint a cleaned up set (chrome removed) or give it to the Highschool metals shop next school year and have them sandcast it and have aluminum ones made. Showed a pict of an emblem to teacher. He said it should work.

I guess it all depends on how clean they are. For a set that looked brand new, I would pay $100 for a pair....

What if you pop a mold of it. You make a silicon mould.
And you use resin with chopped strands/kitty hair to build the emblems.

I think this should work, not?

Wish I had an emblem so I could try this..

I've lost the last 4 sets that hit Ebay at the last second and not a one set of them went for less than $145.00. I need a nice set as well for an upcoming project.

Ron, I have one that you can use if I can get it back. I put one on my tool box with 5200 years ago before I realized how hard they are to find so I have one spare. It's not mint but in good shape.

Jeff, I still have a set for you.
