Put the five blade on the wall and screw the chopper on the shaft and try again.

Good lord Harry, your not kidding, you do need some driving help

Looks like your plowing snow in that vid :D

The prop your running is fine for a boat load of people and coolers, but to go fast, you want that Chopper, I just wish it was a small ear.

That's a guy named Joe Sauer. He ran Candlewood, I ran Zoar, we never met until we talked online through Scream and Fly a couple years ago.

That was a competition hull, with a 1500xs, ran about 80, or a little better. It's a bit different than your application, that boat was go fast only. He still has the engine, and has been looking for that boat for years, he finally gave up, and bought another Viper this summer, so you should see him on Candlewood next summer.

While Joe was perfecting the inline setup, the bunch I hung out with was V6 crazy. We found the learning curve pretty steep, and the education was costly. Going fast was easy, staying dry was more difficult.

Here's another Viper on the Connecticut River running about 105 mph.

That's what I'm nervous about :?

I actually have the last picture you posted on my computer. Is that Ronnie's old Viper? If so, I have seen video's of it...pretty crazy.

Have you heard anything about the CT river run this year? I went a couple of years ago just to watch the boats being launched, and then I heard some bad things happened last year out on the water, or maybe it was two years ago...I can't remember. Any idea if this event will be held again this year?

I've not asked Rich yet, but my guess would be Oct 17th for the River Run. No serious incidents in a number of years now, just the usual broken stuff.

That is Ronnie's old brown Viper, he has one now in a better color.
