Most days it's a nightmare rather than a dream.... but then there is the friday afternoon "test" drives.

Man I'm so burnt out on this sanding. I am having a hard time with this paint. There was some orange peel so I took to sanding 400-600-1000 now for tomorrow 1500 then buff. I realy don't like the paint eather it's a semi gloss so it just doesn't do it for me. I'm thinking of painting it gloss black next year.
I hope to finish and flip it back over tomorrow. Then I want to take some time off from the body work and rig it. I might take a couple days and work in my shop at home, I started to rebuild a 150 evinrude last summer and still need to clean the carbs and drop the powerhead on the mid. Once that is done I can tear into the merc block and get a game plan on the block work.

I stoped sanding at 1500 then buffed it out up to the second chine. I left the rest at 600. I flipped it back over and put new bunks on the trailer.


Afer I flipped the boat over and see it with the blue top I like the color a lot better. It was hard to get into it this week since I was not happy with the color but after today I am pleased with it.

It shure does, but I need a break. I'll bring it back home next week and start on the motor.

Well I haven't got anything done in the last 2 weeks. It's been so cold that I haven't even heated the shop yet till yesterday. I have almost everything to rig it I just need warmer temps.
