She scaled out at 1206# with the interior in it.
2090# - trailer weight 886# = 1206#.
Not the lightest but hopefully will stay together if it hits a bad wake.

Rubrail insert was installed, it was missing when I got the boat. Taco marine had the correct replacement.

I found some flip up cleats on Amazon. $26.00 for 4. The boat didn’t have any cleats and they were using the grab handles.

Got the upholstery out of the storage shed and looked it over. All the wood is junk or rotten.
Most of the vinyl is soft but a few hard cracked areas and a hole.

Looks like I’m going to stitch up a more modern interior.

I can't believe that trailer is almost 900 pounds. That's crazy. I cant wait to see the interior come together.

I wish more people would come check this out. You can't keep a build/resto organized like this on social media.

Oh yeah, them cleats look pretty slick. Not a bad price at all. I have one of these on my Vulture and really like it but it cost over double for the one than you paid for all 4 of them.

Guessing with new interior you’re going to have to keep that HST in the Museum you built I’m sure someone might want to invest in this beautiful boat. I’m sure they are out there but most people have no idea the costs involved for materials and the countless hours put in getting everything right. You my friend are the hardest driven person I’ve ever met can’t wait to see this on the water and see all the heads snap

With the hours invested and the costs so far, flipping it even at an astronomical price, I’d be making like $10.00/ hr. I will probably keep it for the summer and get some fun out if it . All subject to change though. Lol…

It may have to live in the “Hydrostream museum”.

I need to trim costs where I can without sacrificing quality.
The cleats are nylon and easily replaceable if broken.

Very rough numbers so far is $5,000 investment and 600 hours. Just under three months. I did have a couple weeks of no work. A lot of 8-12 hr days in the shop, three ruined hoodies, two pair of pants and a pair of shoes.

The HST has a 6” round hatch right above the transom. Mine had holes gobbled in the lid for cables and hoses. With the rigging hoses now, I needed a replacement hatch.
Looking at replacements, I came across this one on Amazon for kayaks. It is hinged and has a lift out bag. I thought it would be great to store the the up lines there. And it was cheaper than the standard pop out ones.

Got the jackplate ( $300 used in Spokane) and the motor mounted. Measured 8’ for battery cables. Will get those ordered tonight.

The motor is the 2003 200 from the Glastron project. The retro decals look good with the HST’s colors.
