1976 Viper Re-Core Question
1976 Viper Re-Core Question
I'm getting ready to start the re-core on my 1976 Viper. I debating removing the top cap vs leaving it. Has anyone did a re-core and left the top cap on???

Re: 1976 Viper Re-Core Question
A lot of people have and most of them are done that way. It all comes down to how much work do you wan to do. Its certainly easier to work on it with it removed but not necessary. I did my whole Vulture without removing it. Chet did his entire viper without removing the cap. His rebuild is in here but not sure if the pics are still there cause they were all on Photobucket.
