I have been asking around but no one seems to have a good answer. Here is my problem I have a cmc 6 inch manual plate. The plate is in the top holes on the transom side and the motor is one hole from the top of the motor bracket. With everything topped out I am at just over 4 1/2 inches below the pad with the prop shaft. Need to go higher, but I am looking for a good way to do so or a suggestion on what to buy.
I can buy extensions for the cmc plate that is on it. I would just buy a new manual plate if I new it would get the motor high enough with out extensions. What is everyone running to get a 20inch motor even with the pad and still have adjustment up and down.
