speedo pick up placement on 79 vector
does anyone know the correct place to put your speedometer pickup on a 1979 vector..so it will read correctly ?

it goes at the bottom of your hull if its got the pick up with a clear hose that runs to the gauge you want it to be on the back of the boat on the side of the transom put it could leak and then they have a habbit of breaking in some cases better to just bye you a marine gps around 300 bucks and mount it in there will be more accurate and no chance of leaks or breaking or hose blowing off

I agree with the gps over the ols style water pressure speedo's. Heck a cheap ebay hand held unit is all I have in my viper. I do have a standard round gps one in my vegas but I wanted to fill the hole.
