What is the main advantage of having an offshore cut chopper? I have a 26 pitch OC drag prop and a 28 pitch regular chopper which one would give the best speed on my varmint with a 2.5 150 and I think 2.1 gears, prop shaft even with the pad
what I was told is basically the offshore cut ( similar our sane as britt cut) is reducing the surface area of the blade.... allowing it to spin up higher. with the 150 I'd think the 28 would be a lil much depending on diameter I guess.
maybe some one with more knowledge will educate us both
