Use nylon dowel rod to plug the holes. Wood dowel soak up moisture and will pop out the repairs after it expands.

Put the jack plate back on, put solid mounts in the motor and some form of dual cable steering and some sort of 26 pitch decent prop. But if the core is soft in the boat none of this will matter.

This weather sucks balls. Either it's 85 and 40 mph winds, or it's 45 and 40 mph winds.
