I was told that you adjust the 2 cables so that they're kinda working against each other.Not the greatest explanation,but you adjust one one way and the other one the other way(at the motor) until there is no play.Hope this helps.

I am a bit biased toward Glastron's though.Especially the old Carlson's.

Nice little bar/rest. there on the river.Never boated there,but we hit it a few times a year on the Goldwing.The Wing's a little cheaper to run for the day.

Yeah we're pretty lucky as far as lakes go.I could run a different lake everyday of the boating season and not hit half of them with-in an hour of my house.Not to mention that Georgian Bay(part of Lake Huron-Great Lakes) is 5 min. away.
