Re: Viking
If you're still looking for a Viking hull, let me know. My motor just got stolen and the insurance won't pay me, so I'm ready to sell. It's on a nice trailer and I just had new seats made for it. I'm just down the road from you too, in Montreal.

Re: WTB Vking
I hate to say this, but I think that I'm going to have to part with my '89 V-King. Somebody swiped my motor and the insurance doesn't want to pay up, so I think that I'm gonna have to let her go. I'm open to reasonable offers.

Re: I need help...with my boat I mean.
Thanks Jeff. No problem with the delay, I just got back from vacation myself. Hope you had a good one. I appreciate you sharing that estimate with me. It's obviously the labor that's the killer. That would be great if your insurance would foot that bill.

Re: I need help...with my boat I mean.
Ok, latest update. I've got a buddy who can fix anything, and he offered to help me out with the V King rebuild. Starting next week, the project begins and I've gotta say that I'm really looking forward to it. So all you guys who've been down that road before, I'll probably be looking to you for som...

Re: I need help...with my boat I mean.
Like I said, I've got some time to look around, so I would appreciate it if you could get me that quote. Money talks.
$3230.00 is what you were quoted for the work you need done?

Re: I need help...with my boat I mean.
I gave John from HydroStream Canada a call this morning and he definitely sounds like he'd be a great guy to deal with. We must have talked about my options for a good half hour at least. I was ready to hook the boat up to my truck and head out there right away. He's booked pretty solid right now th...

Re: I need help...with my boat I mean.
I guess that when you think about it, $8000,00 isn't sooo bad when you consider that you're getting something of a new boat that should be solid for many years down the road. Compare that to what a brand new boat costs and it's pretty much a no brainer. I guess that I just have to decide if I want t...

Re: I need help...with my boat I mean.
Hey Jeff. I would love to hear what your quote is going to be. PA's not that far for me. If the price is right maybe I'll tow her down.

Re: I need help...with my boat I mean.
Thanks for the input. Keep it coming. I really do appreciate it. The more that I read on here, the more it seems to me that simply changing the floor isn't the end. Pulling up the floor is only the beginning. I guess that it's pretty common to have problems underneath the floor, from what I've been ...

I need help...with my boat I mean.
I've got an '89 Viking. She's been my pride and joy for about 15 years. Well, mostly. About 4 years ago she decided to try her luck at being a submarine, and that didn't turn out so well. Long story...trust me, so I'll make it brief. A buddy left her sitting a little low in the boat lift, they opene...
