I ran 3.5 on mine. I tried 6in but it was way to outta control. Mikes loves the 6in. He tried less and boat didnt like it. 8 might be to much on alittle boat depending on hp and speeds. 20in should be fine. I would love to run a 15 on mine but im just shorts of funds. The 15 will be perfect height on the transome. I run mine 1in above the pad on a 8in setback 20in mid
