Raised the motor up even with the pad. Boat runs MUCH better! Now I just need to learn how to drive the dang thing. The boat ran 68 at 5,600 rpm. Good? Bad? Ugly?

Typical Vector issues. Need help.
Hey guys, I have a new to me 1979 Vector, 1994 Merc 150hp Black Max, 5.5" CMC Manual jackplate, 14" X 26 pitch through hub exhaust Laser II prop. Prop shaft approx 2" below pad, 20 gallon fuel tank and battery in the back. Same problems as I read of on here, severe porpoise at mid spe...
