Video for those who are craving more Hydrostream. This is in the original configuration. I'm wondering if I'm not going to need more prop somehow. The 2-1 gear case on this v4 seems to possibly be a hurdle.

Yep, motor is bolted to the transom and running deep. Definitely want to get a jack plate. I will be working on the setup as long as weather permits this fall. Also will be doing a bit of engine work along the way. Can't wait to make it to a get together next year.

After wanting a Hydrostream for a long time, I finally got one. Probably not everyones favorite, but it's a 1985 Vamp with a great transom and bone dry core. Better yet it was $600 less engine with an EZ loader bunk trailer. My 74 Johnson only pushes it about 52 GPS, but only paid $300 for the engin...
