Also, the floor is the least of your worries with these. The CORE is what you should find out about. Some reason I think it was a solid boat but DO NOT hold me to that. The core is under the floor and the only way to get to it, is to pull the floor out. Also, the transoms are another attention spot on these. Remember, these boats are 30+ years old. Even Howard has said, when he built them, they were making them as fast as they could and he never once thought that they would still be around 30+ years later. My Vulture will be 40 years old this year and has all new Core, stringers, floor, and transom and now that is is done right, it will last another 40 years. Plus, even 30+ years later, still some of the coolest looking boats on the water.

That is actually a Vulture and has been for sale before on FB and I believe Scream and Fly before not to long ago. Look at the HIN (Hull ID Number) on the top right of the transom and that will tell you.

Decode your HIN - http://www.hydrostreamforums.com/app.php/page/decodehin

Hope that helps.

Vector is only 8 inches shorter than a VKing. Yours looks like a VKing based on the nose.

AE21 is a tunnel hull, not a pad Vee.

Identify this hydrostream boat.

Hey fella's I'm a complete novice when it comes to the hydrostream boats. I've had over 20 boats but never a dedicated speed boat. Long story short I've got a guy wanting to trade a boat in to me. I have yet to see it in person so I'm not sure what kind of condition the floor is in but am told it's solid. Since the picture the 175 has been replaced with a 150 mercury black maxx that I'm told runs strong. I'm thinking this is a hydrostream AE21 missing the glass? If it's all solid what do you think the value would be?
