Vintage Race Footage - Venturas

Well, since my Dad passed away, I've been going through my folks' old Super 8 movie collection and there are some treasures in there. They have race movies from 1964-1982 or so. This is the first thing I've had converted and up on youtube...I'll be doing a lot every day I hope. Anyway, this is Family J class footage (later became J Production). I believe this is from Joliet, IL in or around 1974-1975. Several HydroStream Venturas an Allison and a Tunnel (I think it's a Kitson). By the way, my Dad is in the Black Ventura #49. Larry Guimond is in the Blue Ventura. Those are the only two guys I know for sure. I know Al Lessman used to run a red Ventura in that class so that might be him in the Red boat.

Sorry about the HORRIBLE music. The place that converted the Super 8 movies (which are silent) put that down behind the video. Turn down your sound and make boat sounds...that's what I do LOL.
