83 Vector ,

I just noticed that you are in VA , sweet ! That is a nice boat you have and sounds like you have put alot of love into it also . I'm having to put all new dbl steering , throttle cables and ect. I will honestly be another cpl months before fully up and ready to get her out , other than shake downs .

Thanks to the good old ethenol , i am now having to rebuild my carborators , seems the needles and seats are messed up .
 yet still excited

Sorry so long gettin back on here. My vector has had the hull straightened. (Hook Removed) Core has been replaced and floor installed with a balsa composite marine board. Motor is modded and yes, there is a low water pick-up. Running a 26 pitch clever. Vectors are amazing machines. I agree on the unstable statement but its all in seat time. Like any hydrostream owners knows.

I have a question to all in here , Is the world record still 112 . something on the world record set back in 1982 ???
and a statement : of any man that cant post numbers of gps readings , is to scared to floor it and prove it !

pardon me if i offeneded in any form , let's just say , " motivating ! " Because inquiring minds want to know !

The old school Vector is a very nice hull from the factory ! Yet unstable , and many other things but i guess it's all in how you drive and understand what your dealing with from the ( factory ) mode !

You have a sweet boat ! Even the clam shell 200 cowl hood fit's !

Do you have a lower wter pick up ,or any modifications at all done , except for the after market wind shield ?
