I spent 4 hours and a tank of gas getting to know her! I was running 50/1 break in oil so I couldn't run hard...but I did make a few 6000 rpm passes...just enought to pack some air and get the hull to "fly" !! I have a few bugs to work out..stuck pop it valve, bad sending unit for water temp, need to secure my rear bench seat bottom from sliding around, etc. but all worked out great! The boat drew attention everywhere we went!!

There is a sandbar west of the Jupiter inlet and train trestle bridge (old dixie) that alot of boats gather at. Some people pull the boats onto the sand right in front of the Jupiter Lighthouse..you may be thinking of St. Lucie inlet (north of Jupiter by 30 minutes) where there is a large sandbar in the middle of the inlet. Jupiter gives you a variety of good intercoastal, back country and ocean running!!

OK..here's a teaser for you....full tank of gas (about 20+ gallons), two adults (305lbs), cooler, anchor, and gear........
and a stock 200HP 2.5 fishing motor................................................................................................

79.9MPH GPS  turning a Tempest Plus 25 over 6500rpm :boating: ! I ran out of prop :o ...the boat definitly needs a 28 Chopper..I'm sure I would've run mid 80's by myself, there was more in the motor but I did not want to pop anything...I've got U-Flex Silversteer hyd. steering on order and a couple of different props to try..I think 90+ will be a breeze (no pun intended!!! )
