If I'm not mistaken, the Canadian dollar is higher than the american, or at least it was last time I heard... But still, everything seems to cost more here...

Just checked, there's 3 Voo Doos, 1 mini Voo Doo, and a Hustler tunnel on Kijiji Ontario. If you're ever looking, let me know!

VooDoo are very rare down here. I think maybe I have seen only one or 2 in the last 3-4 years pop up on craigslist. Could be they were canada only models. They had the VooDoo and the Mini VooDoo as well. I think that was a foot shorter yet then the VooDoo.

You see Voo Doos for sale here ALL the time. I'd bet there's at least 4 for sale in Ontario on Kijiji right now.... I have 4 girls, between the ages of 8 and 15, this is the first boat I've had since I started having kids, so they haven't grown up with them like I have, unfortunately. Mine's not the "family friendly" type either, it scares my 8 and 9 year olds, but the 12 and 15 year olds love it... Might have to keep my eyes open as well!

I absolutely love my VooDoo. Not that I have a wife and child it's a bit small, but its so much fun with 1. The acceleration with just a 70 is so addicting. I'll be in Ontario the last week of June/first week of July. I plan on making a trip to see the "boat yard" while I'm up there. It's going to be very hard to leave without those molds.

I'm guessing like the vkings and bigger family boats.

I would love to have a voodoo myself. Be a great first boat for my little guy. Well in about 7-8 years any ways. LoL

He told me they were not building the Voodoo's anymore because 1) theres no money in it and 2) they spend all their time building "bigger" boats. I didn't ask what bigger means- I assume it means bigger Hydrostreams/CEs.

So your 'stream was built in their shop? I've done some internet searching and have concluded they're not in business anymore. Are they? Why would they be so hard to find?

idvette wrote: Yeah, no kidding.... But you gotta think, there's a reason they're for sale. As I said earlier, I really think the PWC's did a number on the performance mini boat market. There's still a few of us out there that would drool all over these, but is it profitable?
