I'm still out here guys...I didn't quit! Just some life issues have slowed me down...to include a major move across town. I did get the core out and some sanding on the hull done...also found a great deal on a 96 200 Evinrude that had a hydrolic jack plate attached! I'l get some pics out here soon!

Thank you guys so much...I picked her up Sat...shes painted black hull, yellow deck with orange flames the whole length of the deck... HaHa...I'll have to post some pics....A lot of work ahead but I'm going to take my time and do it right...I had a Vector, bought it brand new in 79, I was 22 years old then...the boat racer buddys that I got involved with told me first thing I had to do was straighten the hook, and they showed me how...I had fiberglass experiance from working in a local boat shop in south west FLA, so it was no problem to do the work...the boat was already upside down on big styrafoam blocks. They helped me rig a brand new 140 mariner raised 1 1/2 on the transome...foot pedal, and trim on the wheel, it would run 72 MPH with a 27 cleaver! It looked just like the one pictured on this site. I'm retiring in 5 years and will head back to the east (where there is some water) and I'll be taking her with...I'm sure I'll own this boat till I'm just not capable of using it anymore;)

I third the guys a Express Composites. They are fully aware of us here too so tell them you heard about them here. They will go way out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. Thankfully they are pretty local to me so they have seen my pretty face in there a few times. :pound:
