Brock, get a hold of John or Chris Spaeth. They make Hydrostreams in Canada (Brechin, Ontario - east of Orillia) and I do believe they still sell the windshield and rails.

I'm in Canada . And was wondering if this windshield is still available . I just recently purchased a vector and the windshield is damaged looking to restore this beauty

Will it work on a 1977 Vector? Can you give me your best price. I'd drive down and just pick it up and avoid shipping. Where in TN are you.

Thanks

Russ (RussF) shipped one to me in a very well padded cardboard box a while back and it was maybe 10 pounds at best i bet. This was just for the windshield, not rails, and I think he said it cost right around $40-50 to ship it from NH to MN. It arrived in one piece just fine. If I remember right he sent it FedEx but I cant remember. Its been a while

I just bought one for $450 bucks + the ride. Wouldn't do it again. I'd say local pick up only. Here's why...

The package will be 5'x5'x2' by the time it is crated adequately to prevent damage in shipping and will weigh 150-200 lbs. UPS isn't going to touch it. You have to ship it truck freight. You're going to be looking at $200-$500 to ship it. They do not give a flying **** at a trucking company. They broke the crate mine was in (heavy plywood and 2x4 frame on a pallet), bent the rail to **** and shattered the plexi. For almost a grand I got basically the lower rail that's useable. Oh yeah, I had it insured too. The trucking company says it wasn't crated adequately, so they won't pay. The shipper says it's the trucking company's fault (it is), so they won't pay (I don't blame him). The crate even said "FRAGILE - GLASS" all over it!!!

There just isn't any way to ship one feasibly.

Sorry for the rant, but hate for somebody to go through the same thing I did.

Good luck with the sale. If you were closer, I'd be interested (if I still had any money in my windshield budget).
