Are you wondering how to post videos in a topic? Look no further as we will explain how right here.
First, when making a post, you will find a few buttons for posting videos from certain sites. For this one we will focus mainly on YouTube.
1 - YouTube
2 - Vimeo
3 - DailyMotion
4 - uStream
Currently we are working on adding more video sites.
First copy the link of the video as shown in the images below
Here you can use the URL link
Or you can just copy the URL in the address bar. This works for all of the video site button we currently have installed.
For security reasons we DO NOT allow the use of the embed code so it will not work.
Next, click the video button of your choice. If you use the YouTube one you will get a pop up box to put the URL in as shown below.
Once you insert the URL press OK. The other you will not get a pop up box.
As you will notice the resulting URL for posting the YouTube videos below.
Number 1 is the output tag with the video URL inserted.
The other buttons will not have a pop up so once pushed you will get some tags as shown by number 2.
Take the URL and simply put it inside the tags as shown by number 3. Thats all there is to it.
This this is what the end result will be.
Currently for other video sites other then the ones installed here, you will need to just post the link to the video.
We are working on a few other sites and once we get them installed we will update this How To to reflect the changes.
